As the Founder, President, and CEO of The Carroll Companies, Roy E. Carroll, II has successfully led the development and evolvement of an impressive real estate portfolio including commercial, residential, hotels and industrial properties. With over $4 billion in real estate assets under his sole ownership, Mr. Carroll is one of the United States' single largest real estate owners. The Carroll Companies maintains a development pipeline of over $1.2 billion in new projects. Mr. Carroll was featured on the Bloomberg Channel series American Dream in 2020. Mr. Carroll has received numerous accolades over the years for his many civic endeavors. Mr. Carroll serves on the High Point University Board of Trustees and is a member of the United Way Tocqueville Society. Mr. Carroll is an avid sportscar enthusiast personally racing Ferraris as well owning and entering a car in the 2022 Le Mans race in which his team came in 5th place in the Pro Class. He is a devoted husband to his wife, Vanessa, and father to his three daughters.

With deep expertise in warehousing, logistics, and international supply chain, Roger Malmrose has developed various warehousing and built-to-suit properties to support world-class customers' supply chain initiatives. He has led several companies with extensive services in regional and global logistics and supply chain management, with geographic footprints throughout Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America. As a senior executive, Mr. Malmrose successfully executed various Private Equity transactions, generating exceptional financial returns to shareholders. Mr. Malmrose has lived in Europe and spent extensive time in Asia. He speaks Italian and Spanish, as well as basic Mandarin. He holds a JD law degree from Stanford University, an MBA from UCLA, and a BS in Computer Science. Mr. Malmrose and his wife, Judy, are proud parents of four children and their spouses.

BILL HENDRICKSEN

Board Advisor

As President and CEO in 1979, Bill Hendricksen founded Inland Cold Storage for storing and distributing frozen and refrigerated foods to the retail/foodservice industries. Mr. Hendricksen grew the business, building and operating 16 cold storage facilities in the Western United States before merging the company with Castle & Cook/Dole Foods in 2008. Mr. Hendricksen continued as its President and CEO, adding 12 more cold storage facilities across the USA. In 2012 Mr. Hendricksen, in partnership with Bay Grove Capital, purchased the ownership interest of Castle & Cooke and formed Lineage Logistics. As CEO of Lineage, Mr. Hendricksen initiated a roll-up of cold storage companies, acquiring 25 additional cold storage companies before retiring in 2016. Lineage has continued to grow, and after more than 45 acquisitions, Lineage Logistics is the largest cold storage and perishable logistics company in the world with over 16,000 employees and 350 cold storage facilities in 20 countries.Mr. Hendricksen has a Business degree from the University of Wisconsin Stout. He is past Board Chairman of the World Food Logistics Organization, past Board Member of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses, past Board Member of the National Frozen Food Association and is an active fund raiser and past Board Member for several non-profit organizations. He is married to his wife Trish and they have one daughter.

Walter C. Blum

Board Member

Based in Switzerland, Walter C. Blum is a board member of Carroll International Switzerland, and owns and manages FISCOM Consulting AG, a Swiss tax and accounting firm. Mr. Blum is a Swiss Certified Tax Expert, with deep experience in Swiss, European, and international tax laws and financial transactions. Mr. Blum has been an Examiner at the Swiss Tax Academy since 1986 and was a legal clerk at the Zurich District Court. Mr. Blum has served on various boards in the medical, manufacturing, and energy industries. He has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Law. He enjoys biking, skiing, and golfing with his wife and children.
